Family Law Department at Taunton Solicitors

Josephine Owen is an accomplished litigation paralegal in the litigation and family department at Taunton Solicitors. After earning a 2:1 Honors LLB degree from the University of Bristol in 2022, where she actively participated in the Bristol Law Society and university Moots, Josephine has recently commenced her SQE apprenticeship as a trainee solicitor, fully supported by Taunton Solicitors.

Joining Taunton Solicitors in 2023, Josephine brings extensive experience in family and matrimonial law, handling cases involving divorce, financial settlements, child arrangements, and cohabitation disputes. She is also adept in general litigation, including possession proceedings, contractual and construction disputes, boundary disputes, and nuisance claims. Josephine is supported and supervised by the head of department Victoria Osborne, with who she works closely.

Originally from Devon and Somerset, Josephine has been a resident of Taunton for seven years. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, taking trips in her campervan, and engaging in various sports, reflecting her dynamic and adventurous spirit. Josephine’s dedication, expertise, and approachable nature make her a highly valued member of our team.
